Be advised I relocated my Cessna from Ballinger, TX to Coleman, TX. I don't know how to change the "location" in the ad details.
I don't think it is prudent to buy an airplane "sight unseen" though an online auction and I encourage a prospective
buyer see my Cessna in person and consider hiring/bringing an A&P mechanic to do a "pre-buy" inspection.
This (by the way) is a "fixed price listing" and NOT an auction.
1967 Cessna 150/150.
This is NOT a woosie Cessna 150!
If you are looking for a woosie Cessna 150, please look somewhere else.
If you don't know what a Cessna 150/150 is, please research through Google and talk to people who own or have owned one.
Please note, current and previous owners of Cessna 150/150s won't stop talking about their Cessna 150/150, so be prepared... these things are a HOOT to fly!
A Cessna 150/150 can and will embarrass a Cessna 172.
A Cessna 172 can not and would not deliver the performance I needed for a very short and narrow grass strip on my farm
and this 150/150 easily clears trees and power-lines and fences surrounding my property.
Please Google "Cessna 150-152 Club, Cessna 150/150" and/or "Pacific Northwest Flyers, Cessna 150/150" and you'll see everyone suggests
it is better to simply "BUY" a 150/150 rather than converting a Woosie Cessna 150 you already own.
These days, you can sink up to $50,000 to buy a woosie Cessna 150, buy a manly Lycoming 150 horsepower engine,
buy the STC, the Prop, the Cowling and everything else, and you will still have to pay an A&P mechanic to install these items
and you'll lose your airplane for up to three months while the conversion is being done.
I flew this airplane from Central Texas to Mount Saint Helens (and
beyond) August 2010.

THIS CESSNA WAS OWNED BY AN A&P-I/A MECHANIC (Long's Aircraft Service of Coleman, Texas) WHO DID THE BUSH 150/150 CONVERSION HIMSELF AND OVERHAULED THE LYCOMING 150 HORSEPOWER ENGINE. I DID NOT BUY IT FROM HIM. I PURCHASED IT FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER IN 2006, WHO LIVES THROCKMORTON, TEXAS. The original "N" number was N6452S. Soon after I bought it, I changed to to N321TX which sounds more user friendly to a Texan.
DURING MY LAST ANNUAL IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR, THE FOLLOWING COMPRESSIONS WERE NOTED.
#1. 73/80, #2. 75/80, #3. 74/80, #4. 75/80
Engine SMOH 675
AIRFRAME Total Time is 4689 Hours
These
numbers might increase slightly
I uploaded a short HD video to
YouTube I made last year ... copy and paste the blue text into your browser and you'll see the video on my YouTube account
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZGeR5Vg_jY
I hope to add another video to YouTube soon, doing a "walk-around" of my Cessna... stay tuned.
NOT FOR SALE OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES. PURCHASER MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
I bought this on 1-6-2006 and soon installed... (PLEASE NOTE "NEW" MEANS PURCHASED NEW AND INSTALLED IN 2006, NOT LAST WEEKEND.)
- New FAA approved leather seat covers.
- New FAA approved Airtex carpet
- The Cessna 150/152 Club Belly Drain
- New Metcoaire Wingtips (I still have the old wingtips, I think! and the buyer can have them)
- A new NarcoCOM 810+/811+ digital radio with
flip-flop (this was a $4,300 navcom, used they easily go for more than $1,000 http://www.bennettavionics.com/com810.html ) - A new Narco AT-165 digital transponder with flip-flop.
- New Kevlar steering rod boots...
- Vortex Generators
- a spin-on oil filter adapter
- Rudder-Stop Modification. (Which I now believe is a mandatory compliance issue)
I put $10,000+ into my Cessna after I bought it. N321TX also has TWO radios! The new NarcoCOM 810+/811+ and a King. They come in very handy, allowing for switching between three frequencies quickly. I've been able to switch from Ground, to Tower to Departure with a simple flip of a switch instead of having to dial in the frequencies...
I have kept this in a hanger as long as
I have owned it and to the best of my knowledge it has been based in a hanger
all it’s life, here in Texas. The previous owner lived in Throckmorton, Texas where it was hangered. The earliest record of an owner I can find shows "Humble, Texas." I've also found papers showing owners in San Angelo, TX and Albany, TX...
Typically, I can land
in 500 feet and have made a 300 foot landing.
It gets me off the ground in
about 600 feet and less on my grass runway, and shorter on asphalt.
Look at YouTube and see someone who has a 150/150 and it looks like he gets airborne in less than 300 feet.
I've flown this up to 15,000 feet. I've cruised in this Cessna at 130 mph easily.
I can basically get the same range as a woosie Cessna 150 having the 100 horsepower Continental engine
if I fly at the same speed of the woosie Cessna 150,
minus a couple of kilometers for the added 77.5 pounds of the Bush 150/150 STC.
I have the option of going much faster than a Cessna 172 if I elect and can fly higher than a Cessna 172.
I plan my flights at 22 gallons of useable fuel. In theory, 22 gallons could provide 3.15 hours flight time,
but I personally have not exceeded 2.15 hours flying, partly because I am "old and not bold"
and my 60 year old bladder needs to unload about every 2.15 hours anyway.
I have a series of photos on my
Flickr account, click on this link or copy to your browser...

NEXT ANNUAL DUE BY 2-1-2013
I don't know how to change these details on Ebay but these terms must be met...
#1. A $750 deposit needs to be made upon agreeing to buy my Cessna. Full payment must be made within 10 days after the deposit.
#2. Full payment must clear my bank prior to me releasing this airplane to ANY buyer. I prefer using AOPA Escrow Service, https://aopa.aictitle.com/EscrowServices.aspx
#3. All paperwork to satisfy the Federal Aviation Administration for transfer of ownership must be completed before the buyer can leave.
#4. During the transaction for the purchase of this Cessna, the buyer and I will send the FAA forms by Certified Mail, Priority Deliver to the FAA. I'll pay for the fee at the local post office.
#5. The Cessna must be moved from the hanger I rent, within 45 days of rendering the deposit. Anything after 45 days, you'll need to make arrangements with the City of Coleman.
#6. Shipping is not available, nor can I arrange to have this flown to your airport. The buyer must fly this away, or arrange to have a ferry pilot deliver it.
Here is a good link to procedures that protect both the seller and buyer of airplanes...
http://www.aircraftowner.com/magazine/read/dont-forget-the-paperwork---the-complexities-of-buying-and-selling-aircraft_41.html
I paid cash for this Cessna when I bought it and there are no liens, but I encourage all prospective buyers
to consider purchasing a title search though AOPA. If you are not a member, join now - it's only $45 per year.
I have enough confidence in the condition, performance and ability of this Cessna that I would not hesitate flying it through Canada up the Alaskan Highway tomorrow, however my medical expired and I have no chance of passing any future FAA required medical exams.

1966 Cessna 150F Airplane with Valid Annual Inspection! (near Chicago, Illinois)
Why Rent When You can Own?
If you are thinking of becoming a pilot, this is the plane for you! Inexpensive, reliable, and well maintained. Conveniently located near Chicago for pickup. Has been hangared the entire time I've owned it. I am only selling it because I am nearly done with my training. You can be the next to benefit from this plane.
I paid for every improvement the A&P mechanic suggested over the past 7 years I've owned the plane. Even when I bought the plane, I had it professionally appraised. This is something NOBODY does on small value planes like this, but it gives you ALL the details you could want from an independent 3rd party. The reason I paid the money to have this done at the time I purchased the plane is because I knew very little about buying an aircraft and I wanted to make sure I wouldn't buy a lemon. I have easily spent twice my reserve price for this plane doing upgrades and thorough inspections since owning it. Believe me, you are getting a quality product at a great value. I've put far more into this airplane than I'm asking for it.
There is also a nice Bendix/King NAVCOM system in addition to the detailed inspection report from when I purchased the plane, and BEFORE all the upgrades I made to it. You can learn everything you need to know about this plane to have confidence in it. As you can tell, I'm a very detail oriented buyer and now seller.
Please review these links for the original (at my time of purchase in 2005) appraisal, the operating specifications of the plane from the broker I originally purchased it from, and the NAVCOM system:

Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic
Any questions about this aircraft can be directed to the A&P mechanic who has maintained it since I purchased it:
brian sheely [email protected] PHONE 219-462-6622
http://www.wingsaviationvpz.com/
As of the Aug 29, 2011 Annual Inspection reports (signed pages are shown in the auction picture list):
ACTT: 4858.2
TACH: 4858.2
ETT: 2886.1
TSOH: 1358.7
I have flown the plane at most 10 hours since these values were recorded, so they are very close to the actual numbers. If you would like to know the precise numbers right now, please e-mail Brian Sheely (the A&P mechanic whose hangar the plane is in currently). Brian's e-mail is shown above.
The independent appraisal done in 2005 at the time I purchased the plane states on page 3 of the PDF: "Comments: Careful review of all log books were made. All logs since new were available with exception of the current engine log from the time BEFORE the aircraft had a major overhaul." The current A&P mechanic (Brian Sheely) has the Airframe logbooks dating back to 1988 and the Engine logbooks dating back to 2005 in his possession currently, so if you have questions for those date ranges you can check with him. I have the remainder of the log books reviewed by the independent appraiser.
Financing
When I purchased the plane, I worked with the helpful staff at Red River State Bank to finance the airplane loan. I highly recommend them.
http://airloan.com
Upgrades since I purchased the plane
As mentioned above, I have made every improvement recommended to me since purchasing the plane. There have been two companies I used for A&P work. You can see here a brief summary of my investment:
Price I paid to purchase the plane ($14,900) + Independent Appraisal ($700) + American Aero A&P work ($9,342.59) + Wings Aviation A&P work ($22,022.66) + 7 years of hangar rentals (not counting that cost) = $46,965.25
As you can see, I went a bit overboard improving this little plane. One of the pictures even shows the old avionics before I upgraded them so you can see the difference!

I have had this plane going on two years, overall the plane is in excellent condition and has been well maintained. I have complete log books and records since 1964. No damage history.Current tach is 1141.7. Records will currently reflect 4424.5 TTAF. The engine was replaced with a Continental remanufactured O-470 in 1998. The last annual was on 3/1/12.(Last week) Both mechanical and IFR annuals are current as of March 2012. Cylinders are as follows:#1-70 #2-65 #3-72 #4-71 #5-70 #6-70 Based on compression alone, the engine is tight.
Addressed at annual 2012 - New tires, brake rotors and pads, front nose strut seal replaced, & bungee dampner for steering replaced.
It has been WELL maintained by my mechanic for the past four years, and he is available to answer any questions from you or your mechanic. New battery as of 4/2011.
Pictures of the interior. Floor carpet needs a simple shampoo cleaning. The seats may have been redone by Airtex in 2002? Not sure as there are brochures, but I do not see a receipt. The fabric is clean and simply aged, no rips or tears. The plane has two shoulder harnesses for the front seats, you see hanging down. The rear baggage compartment is where the long range tank is installed. There is still room for baggage, on top of the 18 gallon tank. The red circle you see on the right side of the fuselage is the fill cap.
The plane is outside, and is always covered with a Bruce canvas cover. Paint is in good condition and still has luster in the finish. I am not sure, when it was last painted? Possibly around 2000. The glass is in excellent condition and does not have any nicks, cracks, or other discoloration or deformity. The cover protects the glass from sand and debris.
